I was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Gods country to an outdoorsman. When other kids were playing Baseball and video games I was fishing and hunting with Dad (Thanks Dad). The outdoors always meant more to me than most anything. Many ex-girlfriends would attest to that.
After High School, I attended Lake Superior State University as an Environmental Science major. This allowed me to spend plenty of time in the outdoors. After college I joined the corporate rat race and moved around a little. I was blessed to fish many places along the way. Chicago was fun but way to big for a country boy. Seattle was great but I missed the warmer water Bass, Bluegill, & Northerns of my youth. A trip home every other year just wasn't enough.  I decided in 2004 to leave corporate America behind and pursue my passion of fishing fulltime. Minneapolis has been a great home base for this.
